An exciting new opportunity has arisen within the Temporary Recruitment Team through Hays Corporate Accounts for a Direct Recruiter. This Recruiter will be responsible for the sourcing and attraction of temp and contract candidates into the Finance business. Their key objective will be to establish and deliver a comprehensive and effective onsite direct sourcing service for the Finance business. Building effective and trusting relationships with hiring managers is critical to the success and credibility of the function.

Working in a team of 10 people in a busy in-house Recruitment office, this candidate will be responsible for

• Developing and executing a direct sourcing/candidate attraction strategy to ensure the highest calibre of candidates are attracted to the bank.

• Working closely and establishing relationships with the business to promote direct sourcing capability.

• Partner the Recruiters to plan recruitment drives and campaigns.

• Interviewing to determine the suitability of candidate for the bank’s requirements

• Short listing appropriate candidates and facilitating the line manager to select candidates for interview.

• Effective management of the candidate closing process

• Ensuring the recruitment process is managed in accordance with current legislation

• Supporting the Lead Recruiter to deliver results into the Finance business and deliver effective MIS and market intelligence at their request.

• Work as part of a dynamic and flexible team structure, supporting other team members when needed.

Requirements:

• A proven track record within either an external agency/search firm or direct on-site sourcing team with previous cold calling experience.

• Good understanding of the Finance Investment Banking market

• Strong communication skills with exceptional negotiation skills

• Strong credibility and ability to establish relationships quickly and deal with senior clients internally.

• Ability to prospect new candidates and work collaboratively within a team whilst setting up their business from scratch.

• Awareness of current HR and employment legislation.
