Opportunity for a high calibre recruiter with experience in the recruitment field to join Understanding Recruitment as it enters an exciting time of growth in the current market. Understanding Recruitment is a fresh and exciting IT recruitment consultancy based in St. Albans and established in 2007 by two of the industries most successful IT recruiters with over 40 years of combined experience within their field.

Depending on your experience, you will start as a consultant and following intensive training, coaching and mentoring you will quickly progress your career within the business.
The Role: Following a comprehensive training programme across the entire sales life cycle you will be responsible for the following:
- Candidate Searches on behalf of your Consultant for key recruitment assignments
- Building, developing and running your own business
- Advertising where appropriate jobs on the key jobsites
- Resource / Research candidate CV's on the key jobsite databases
- Communicate and qualify candidates for specific assignments
- Full life cycle including establishing the candidates interest levels, screening, organisation of interviews, offer management, etc (For those of you without experience, this will be trained)
Key skills:
Typically you will have gained formal and further education, however the key qualities that you will need to succeed are a natural flair for sales, drive, ambition, determination, professionalism, assertiveness, confidence and an articulate telephone manner. You will also have a determination to over achieve with excellent attention to detail.
