Recruitment Coordinator recruitment
Supporting a recruiter who is responsible for all hiring into a specific business area. This will encompass first years, penultimate year interns and graduates. Additionally you will be given responsibility for supporting the recruiter in managing relationships for a portfolio of our target universities. Each of these constituencies will require the development and implementation of a recruitment strategy in conjunction with key business and HR stakeholders.
While the role is a coordinator role we expect all members of the team to be able to operate independently to achieve the team’s goals. To do this you will be interfacing with a dedicated Campus Marketing function and teams within HR providing reporting and analytical support in addition to the business.
The role will expose you to all facets of the campus recruiting function. You will get involved in marketing and selection; university relations; database management; event planning; assessment centres; and decision meetings.
• Working in partnership with Recruiters to execute best practices throughout the recruitment process
• Administering psychometric tests to all candidates – SHL training provide
• Organising and facilitating assessment centres
• Coordinate the preparation of materials and schedules, confirm assessor attendance, facilitate the assessment centre, ensure all assessment data is collated and stored in the online recruitment system and in physical files.
• Providing feedback to candidates post interview and assessment centre
• Manage the on-boarding process to ensure all new joiner data is captured and passed to HR Advisory Services Centre (ASC)
• Managing general queries from candidates via the grad hotline and shared grad email account and being pro-active in communicating with candidates throughout the recruitment and on-boarding process to ensure a quality service.
• Liaise with contacts within the business groups as required
• Booking and coordinating logistics of campus events including university presentations, career fairs and special events.
• Preparation of marketing materials in order to ensure appropriate advertising of event as agreed with the Recruiter
• Coordination of allocation of marketing collateral to events
• Attendance at selected events as agreed in advance
• Ensure data quality to support, track and report on candidate and event activities
• Provide regular reporting to Regional Recruiting Head and Business Area Heads
• Ensure appropriate tracking of costs associated with the recruitment and events
Skills and experience required
• Prior experience of graduate recruitment, event management, or HR within the financial services industry required
• Organization and project management skills
• Attention to detail; good time management skills
• Self-starter able to work independently
• Prior experience of how to conduct competency-based interviews, facilitation of assessment centres, and providing competency-based feedback advantageous
• Good communication skills- oral and written
• Demonstrate an understanding of HR and Recruiting best practise
• Functional knowledge of Powerpoint, Excel and Word
• Fluency in any European language an advantage.
• Education to degree level or equivalent- any discipline.
• Mobility required - some travel within UK and Europe to campus presentations throughout the year with occasional overnight stays during busy season (Sept-Feb)
• Ability to accommodate occasional weekend work during peak recruiting season
