The Human Capital (HC) team within PwC is a dynamic, proactive and integral part of the firm's success. Our Lateral Resourcing team within HC manages the recruitment of experienced staff across the firm, and is responsible for recruiting the best and brightest in the marketplace.

We currently have an opportunity for an experienced recruitment professional to join the Sydney Human Capital team supporting the PwC Consulting business. Working within a high performing team, this is a fantastic opportunity to gain exposure to senior stakeholders in a true business partner role, sourcing a diverse range of skills across multiple portfolios. Due to the number of identified future growth plays for the Consulting business, you will be able to make a significant impact on numerous hiring decisions as well as contribute significantly to identifying the firm's future leaders.

Key responsibilities:

Manage the end to end recruitment process for the Technology Projects and Analytics portfolios in Melbourne and Sydney. This broad portfolio includes specialist areas such as Strategy Architecture, Enterprise Applications, Projects, Modelling Analytics, Business Intelligence and Economics Policy. You will work alongside business units to understand their recruitment requirements, build strategic recruitment plans, search the external market place, effectively manage stakeholders and smoothly onboard candidates. Additionally, you will:

- Work closely with business leaders and HC colleagues to define recruitment requirements at a proactive and strategic level;
- Develop deep relationships and business knowledge within your client portfolio;
- Manage the full end to end recruitment process including role brief, direct advertising and sourcing (internal and external), agency sourcing, shortlisting, interviews, reference checks, online contracts and onboarding;
- Conduct recruitment activity reporting and administration as required by client groups;
- Manage relationships with key external agencies;
- Contribute towards or lead various Resourcing team projects as required; and
- Share knowledge with clients and broader HC teams i.e. communicate market knowledge and insights, best practice etc.

Key internal clients/relationships:

- Business Leaders, HC Partners and key Resourcing contacts within the Melbourne and Sydney business portfolios
- Wider HC team in both Melbourne and Sydney as well as across Australia
- Wider Resourcing team including Global Mobility and Campus Recruitment

Skills and experience required

Degree qualified, you may currently be working in internal recruitment or be looking to move from a recruitment consultancy to take on a more strategic business partner role. You will be comfortable engaging and influencing at all levels in the firm; as such, strong communication skills and a professional approach is paramount. Key to your success in this role is your ability to multi-task, to manage competing priorities and to demonstrate a high level of resilience.

You will enjoy the opportunity to work alongside other teams within HC, and with Partners, Directors and Managers within the firm, to position yourself as a specialist in your field. To be effective, you will have demonstrated capabilities in operational and strategic recruitment by actively engaging the business and the external marketplace. You will possess a solid commercial mindset and be able to proactively contribute to broader HC issues. Professional services experience as well as knowledge utilising Taleo will be highly regarded.
