Regional CEO – Online Media recruitment
The business is undergoing a rapid expansion which will see the business enter 72 new cities across china in the next 30 months. As part of this the company is now seeking to appoint a General Manager/Sales Director to drive all aspects of the business across approximately six Tier 2/Tier 3 cities in China
Responsibilities:
- Management of Sales Management Function in each group company to ensure targets are achieved
- Implementation and review of tactical and strategic sales initiatives
- Regular communication with Regional Managing Director updating on sales figures.
- Analysis of KPI’s
- Participate in cross-functional meetings on strategic issues
- Competitive Analysis and market trends investigation.
- People management of large sales team.
- Set up succession planning within sales team.
- Set up and manage sales forecasting and reporting techniques
- Segmentation of regional or industry targets markets per sales team
- Implement and improve and monitor motivation techniques for sales team
- Manage sales budget
- Improve customer relationship management practices
- Contribute resources and input to sales training
- Interview and hire sales executives alongside HR
Person specification:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a management role encompassing call centre, wholesale and/or online sales industry experience.
- Experience in call centre, online recruitment or media a distinct advantage.
- Client focused, with a proven track record of success in driving sales and profits, and in building and developing teams of highly performing sales professionals.
- Track record of improving the profitability and value of a firm or business unit in a senior leadership position, with demonstration of expertise in industry concepts, practices and procedures.
- Entrepreneurial spirit with an ability to work on his/her own initiative.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, strong ability to work in high-pressure situations, and excellent business acumen.
- Fluency in Mandarin and affinity with the market in China is an advantage, but not essential and the position reports directly to the Regional Managing Director in China.
