Regional Compliance Review recruitment

 This role will involve looking at the internal controls across the different banking areas and assessing their suitability to the regulatory impacts within each of the jurisdictions. You role will be one of the most visible within the organisation as the bank continues to focus on it’s compliance programme as its key priority.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Contribute to risk assessment profiles / business monitoring and the overall implementation of group audit methodology.

• Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls relating to compliance/AML risks in accordance with group audit methodology and the established risk assessment framework.

• Develop and maintain broad broker-dealer regulatory experience. Keeps current on business/industry changes and their affect on the review and Risk Assessments.

Requirements of the candidate will include:

• Working knowledge of key Compliance/AML risks.

• Flexible, pro-active, self sufficient and innovative individual with strong organizational and multi-tasking skills to take ownership and responsibility of agreed targets and meet them within budget to enable a timely and efficient completion of audit projects.

• Excellent written / verbal communication skills and be able to communicate effectively at all levels.
