Regional Continuous Improvement Coordinator Job in Jacksonville, Florida Us

MUST HAVE A DEGREE AND PREFERRED MANUFACTURING BACKGROUND EXPERIENCE

Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, the Regional CI Coordinator will assist the Regional Business Team in the implementation of the concepts that support the Company. The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic self-starter with exceptional communication skills.  Champion change towards a culture of continuous improvement.

As an integral part of the Regional team, your responsibilities will include; training small and large groups of associates on the Comapny, mentoring small group activities, represent the region on IE2 initiatives, work with General Managers to support continuous improvements efforts, identify areas of improvement opportunity, report on status of Company's activities,   You must have a proven track record in understanding and implementation of Lean Manufacturing concepts, creative problem solving, achieving targets, challenging the status quo, implementing and supporting change, and effective decision making.  Strong mentoring, teamwork, interpersonal skills, communication, computer, presentation skills and the ability to work with associates at all levels of the organization are critical in this role.

Specific areas of responsibility include:

 

·         Application of lean tools such as value stream mapping, 5S, Visual factory, Kaizen and PDCA

·         Work with teams to identify root cause and implement corrective action to solve service, quality and process related problems.

·         Work with IE2 and General Managers to implement Best Practices

·         Coach associates in region on current and future Company initiatives.

·        Coordinate development of process scorecards and data collection for all functions of the operations.

·         Work with Regional Manager and General Managers to prioritize Company's activities.

·         Track and report on progress of Small Group Activities, 5S and other Comapny activities.

Operate under the concept of continuous improvement and positively support change across all functions of the operation.  Provides mentoring, training, and assistance to 5S and small group activities.   The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's Degree in engineering with 3 – 5 years experience in Lean Manufacturing.
