The successful candidate will effectually build and service investment advisory firm relationships within the region and promote our key business initiatives and strategies.

Key Responsibilities will Include:

- Cultivate strong business and servicing relationships with investment advisory firms in the West US Region

- Identify and pursue effective business relationships on an ongoing basis, through in-person meetings, presentations, educational efforts, and conference calls

- Focus efforts on RIAs, broker dealers, institutional or investment consulting firms, and family offices

- Effectively conduct a multiple step sales process to introduce Hatteras Funds and our multiple alternative investment fund offerings 

Critical Success Factors:

- Energy, enthusiasm, strong work ethic, high degree of integrity and professionalism

- Financial services industry experience with specific emphasis on alternative investment strategies and products, as well as knowledge of mutual funds and/or separately managed accounts (SMAs)

- Demonstrable understanding of the sales process required to increase the Firm's assets under management; proven experience building and maintaining strong financial advisor relationships

- Proven track record of effectual territory relationship management and sales outcomes

- Experience, credibility, and aptitude to speak knowledgeably about alternative investment strategies

- Willingness to learn and grow with the team and with the organization

- Strong organizational and CRM skills with key attention to detail

Licenses / Education:

- Required:

     - Series 7

     - Bachelors Degree

- Desirable:  CAIA, CFA, Series 63,66
