Job Summary
Deutsche Bank Corporate Banking Securities (CBS) is one of the world’s leading investment banks, with more top three rankings by market share than any of our peers. CBS comprises Markets and Corporate Finance, and includes regional coverage in the Bank’s key growth areas. The bank’s Global Transaction Banking (GTB) provides Cash Management, Trade Finance and Trust Securities Services to corporate clients and financial institutions across the globe. The Conflict Clearing team is responsible for tracking all relevant transactions across CBS and GTB in order to identify, evaluate and help manage potential conflicts of interest globally. As such, the Conflict Clearing team works very closely with the relevant business groups as well as Compliance. Three regional teams work very closely together for their day-to-day operations and execution of the conflict clearing process. You will be reporting to the Global Head of Conflict Clearing.
Role Responsibilities
- Support of the Conflict Clearing team in setting up secure deal folders for relevant transactions withinCorporate Finance
- Regular update and validation of access to secure deal folders, as and when required
- Support of the Conflict Clearing team in regularly updating relevant deal information
- Validation and capturing of relevant client and/or transaction information (including e.g. liaison with the business groups to capture relevant documents such as NDAs and ELs)
- Generation of regularly scheduled as well as adhoc deal reports
- Support of the team’s Global Head in the preparation of regular MIS
Requirements
- Excellent communication (oral and written) skills
- Fluent written and spoken English language skills
- Demonstrated a high degree of sensitivity to highly confidential, market sensitive information
- Keen eye for detail
- Able to work independently and proactively
- Able to manage multiple priorities / streams of work and meet strict deadlines
- Be highly motivated with a strong willingness to learn and take on new challenges
- Very structured and organized, proactive and problem solving oriented
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
