Regional Director- Operations Accounting (Arabic Speaking) recruitment
This senior role will take ownership and control of areas of financial management and accounting duties, whilst supporting corporate finance objectives across both operational and development functions and projects. This role will also be heavily focused towards the development and implementation of control policies and systems across the regional business to provide effective and compliant reporting and controllership.
Your duties will include:
• Assist in the review, development and implementation of accounting policies, practices and internal controls, to ensure assets are being fully utilised and maintained across the regional hubs.
• Undertaking analysis and planning functions to allow strong data flows and MIS for the holding group; to target and achieve financial and strategic objectives.
• Support the Regional Vice President to set and monitor financial objectives across the business and properties, whilst supporting any acquisition targets through due diligence, financial analysis and valuations.
• Conversion and implementation of accounting systems and personnel across the sites, in accordance with group policy and standards.
• Budgeting and forecasting within the business to support corporate objectives and roll out targets of operations across the MENA territories.
Our client will look to identify a Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA) or an MBA based candidate who can demonstrate a strong and internationally aligned reporting and control skill set. Due to varied internally and externally client related reasons; our client will only consider native Arabic speakers for this position. Candidates shall also be expected to display a demonstrable track record across the hotel and hospitality sector ideally within the Middle East region; covering areas of both operational and development facets and responsibility.
