Responsibilities:
- Work closely with stakeholders to ensure that local/regional business needs are met; Review and update the strategy according to evolving business needs
- Develop/evaluate business plans, case studies and scenario analysis for projects
- Provide business analytics to be used in driving strategy and initiatives; identify and mitigate risk factors
- Collaborate with regional finance committee to achieve priorities in the strategy
- Optimise cost through existing process/cost evaluation, benchmarking, and improvement recommendation
- Ensure appropriate governance over the financial aspect of the projects
- Prepare and manage project budget and forecast. Evaluate financial results and implement improvements on planning and forecasting process
- Prepare regular progress reports on current project status, critical issues and risk to senior management in local and regional offices
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting / finance / business administration / management or other related field
- Must be a qualified accountant
- 7 - 10+ years of relevant experience, gained from a Big4 and other financial institutions (insurance/banking etc.)
- Detail-orientated with strong business analytics and financial project management skills (including monitoring, analysis and reporting performance)
- Technical proficiency with Excel (v-lookup, pivot tables), Microsoft Word, PowerPoint
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to interact, influence and build cross-functional relationships
- Ability to manage and communicate with multiple teams
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal in English and Chinese
- Strong presentation skills
- Flexibility and ability to multi-task and prioritise
- Ability to handle multiple priorities/initiatives to achieve business target in a changing environment
