Regional Financial Controller recruitment
Our client is a highly regarded and leading player in the regional utilities market. Based in the UAE, the firm operates across the whole of the GCC and has developed a very strong reputation. As the organisation continues to grow, there is a need to bring on board an additional Financial Controller to head up the Regional Finance Team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced senior finance professional to join a leading organisation in a senior role with excellent career potential.
The new Financial Controller will report directly to the Group Financial Controller and Senior Management Board. You will be responsible for preparing regular financial reports, overseeing the management accounting, budgets and forecasts as well as taking on responsibility for various other finance functions. The successful candidate will also be expected to present to the Senior Management Board on a regular basis and should therefore have excellent presentation skills as well as a strong commercial awareness and confidence to make professional recommendations to improve the business performance.
All candidates;
- Must have a recognised professional accounting qualification – CMA, CPA, ACA or ACCA
- Will have extensive experience in a similar senior role at another leading industrial organisation having gained exposure to European markets
- Must have very strong presentation skills as well as demonstrate commercial awareness
- Will be based in the GCC with a strong regional network
