Regional Head of Post Trade IT (Senior Executive Director) – Investment Bank recruitment

Responsibilities:

• Responsible to further establish and strengthen the post trade IT

• Working closely with business and IT partners to determine the functional and technology strategy for the domain and own the medium to long term roadmap to execute the strategy

• Oversee the delivery of programmes and projects in order to tactically deliver the roadmaps and adhere to the agreed strategy

• Vertically Integrate with team; provide daily leadership IT managers and software development resources while maintaining ability to communicate and present to senior IT leadership peers

• Proactively manage stakeholders and clients, evaluate their interests and establish effective communication channels with them

• Works with architects and business solution owners on the domain/solution strategies

• Ensure that solution meets all audit/control/regulatory requirements in addition to functional and non functional requirements

• Serve as advocate and resolver of post trade services domain issues in cross divisional and cross regional key projects, issues and risks

• Establishes a highly scalable operating model and strengthen the subject matter expertise within the post trade services domain

• Ensures that technical and business knowledge is built and retained

• Responsible with work with locations on keeping IT operational costs low and delivering application fixes efficiently

• Manages the vendors and internal staff to ensure the right mix of skills and experience is available

• Be involved in coordinating regional and cross divisional activities

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science

• 15+ years of experience in managing IT projects in the finance industry, ideally with an investment or private bank

• 5+ years of experience as a programme manager with great experience in managing challenging stakeholders

• Excellent knowledge of post trade technologies as well as from the business point of view

• Profound technical background, able to actively contribute at technical level

• Profound understanding of trading and real time technologies, application development standards as well as project issues and dependencies in order to successfully manage the solution portfolios

• Experience of managing 50+ staffs

• Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational and leadership skills
