Regional Institutional FX Sales Leader

The focus of this key role will be to effectively manage an allocated portfolio of institutional FX /Commodities/Rates accounts that includes initiating and developing good account relationships at all levels.
This role will be responsible and accountable for the acquisition, retention and growth from the allocated customer portfolio.

Principal Responsibilities and Accountabilities
1. Responsible for maintaining and growing revenue for allocated customer portfolio.

2. Provide full consultancy and advice to customers based on understanding customer needs, industry trends and platform ability to fulfil the need.

3. Responsible for developing and closing pipeline opportunities.

4. Ensure that all customer information and all sales opportunities are updated in a timely and accurate manner in all internal sales tool and databases.

5. Manage and develop in-depth account plan for Traders, brokers, buy-side fund managers, systematic trading managers within the FX / Commodities and Rates space.

6. Actively champion any product/currency programs as appropriate, by targeting the right customer with the right value proposition.

7. Act as point of escalation for all allocated customer complaints, system failures, billing and contractual issues.

8. Gather product and capability feedback, and competitor information from customers and disseminate this information to other relevant internal divisions.

9. Carry out the above duties so as to develop and maintain good relationships and credibility within the business community as both a representative of the group and as an individual.

10. To fulfil any additional/ad hoc duties as required to meet the needs of the business.

2. Excellent presentation skills and must be comfortable and effective in addressing individuals as well as large audiences.

3. Strong project management skills including the ability to successfully manage multiple tasks and multiple customers.

4. Strong written and oral skills in English and local language skills as appropriate.

5. Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.

6. Conscientious, self motivated and goal orientated.

7. Excellent attention to detail.

8. Able and willing to travel (domestic and international).

9. Able and willing to work hours as necessary to support the business in the achievement of its goals and corporate publicity.

10. Ability to work autonomously.

Professional / Technical Skills

1. Successful and proven track record in sales

2. Knowledge of FX and related space

3. Ability to develop new skills and understand new technology as required
