Our client is a well-established International Insurance Company with an expanding presence in Asia. To maintain high standard of corporate governance and ensure [INVALID-WORD]nt risk control requirements are met, an outstanding opportunity has arisen for an experienced internal auditor to cover either Life Insurance or Asset Management business, based in Hong Kong.
Reporting to Audit Senior Management, your main responsibility is to support the annual risk-based audit plan and perform on-going risk / control assessment. You will provide objective analysis, including detailed observations and recommendations, related to key business risk areas, and issue independent assurance that risks are managed within the risk appetite approved by the Board. An important part of your role is the focus on executing a range of continuous improvement, administrative and reporting tasks needed to meet stakeholder requirements, and also ensuring alignment between audit strategy and business strategy.
To qualify, individuals must possess:
- Recognised Audit and Accountancy qualifications.
- 5 - 7 years of audit experience gained from insurance or asset management business.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Willing to travel across the region.
