Regional Operations Director, Paris – Financial IT recruitment

The company has a well established and growing Paris office, is the number 1 provider in their niche sector and has offices globally.

This position requires a leader to manage and take full responsibility for the operational side of the operations team in EMEA. You would be responsible for a team of over 50 professionals based in several strategic locations. The team is made up of Consultants, Business Analysts, Project Managers Implementation Specialists and they require a senior professional capable of running this size of team effectively.

The incumbent will be based at the Paris office maintaining high quality standards, maximising long term profitability and ensuring operations are efficient and effective via ownership of a 7 digit PL.

Responsibilities include:

• Collaborate and implement procedures and policies for operational activities (client services, system consulting, client support, etc) to provide best practices and increase effectiveness and efficiency.

Your team size will be approx 50 professionals and growing.

• Demonstrate a strong working knowledge of the Capital Markets

• Be a commercial Professional Group Director, identifying and developing ways to extend service offerings to clients, which not only benefit the client but deliver extra revenue opportunities as well

• Manage EMEA Production Team Leaders and Client Support

• Be able to take responsibility at a high level for project and implementation work

• Experienced in project management / consulting methodologies. Must be comfortable running a large and complex implementation projects on multiple sites made up of vendor and client resources, and dealing with all the accompanying issues.

It is a requirement that the person is fluent in both French and English. There will be occasions when it is necessary to travel to other offices.
