Regional Product Manager (CTM, ALERT, Benchmarks) recruitment
POSITION OVERVIEW:
This position will be the Hong Kong based Regional Product Manager (RPM) for the Omgeo CTM, ALERT and Benchmarks applications. In this role the RPM will also work closely with the Regional Product Managers, Global Product Managers associated Omgeo functions (Sales, RM, CCC, and Integration) to capture regional client needs, articulate a region-specific product vision in conjunction with GPM's of associated products, champion Omgeo global initiative take-up in their region, manage day-to-day product initiatives production support, liaise with internal Omgeo functions and provide summary reporting/statistics measuring product health/growth in their region.
- Omgeo ALERT is the industry's largest web-based global database for the maintenance and communication of standing settlement and account instructions (SSI). ALERT enables a community of investment managers, brokers/dealers and custodian banks to share accurate SSI automatically worldwide. Omgeo ALERT, the most compliant rules engine on a market by market basis.
- Omgeo CTM is Omgeo's strategic platform for the central matching of cross-border and non-U.S. domestic equity, fixed income and exchange traded derivatives transactions.
- Omgeo Benchmarks is a flexible performance measurement solution for both broker/dealers and investment managers. It provides tools to monitor and analyze operational performance against industry standards, as well as counterparty timeliness and performance. Omgeo Benchmarks is the industry standard for performance measurement of operational efficiency
Accountabilities:
- Serve as market expert for post-trade/pre-settlement services - Become de facto Omgeo expert on industry problems, patterns and opportunities as applicable across Omgeo ALERT, CTM and Benchmarks (or other closely associated services).
- Regional business expert mapping regional client problems to existing Omgeo solutions
- Where necessary, author Omgeo business case for investment in new features/functionality where needed/justified for growth in Hong Kong/APAC.
- Partner with Global Product Managers on CTM, ALERT and Benchmarks to articulate regional product plan/vision and align with GPM 12-18 month product plans.
- Production Support - drive resolution on product escalations not supported by App Support/3rd level escalation
- Provide regular product reporting for key metrics capturing business health in Hong Kong/APAC
- Become expert user on Omgeo CTM, ALERT and Benchmarks applications
- Handle ad-hoc data queries passed from PM staff, following Omgeo internal security process
- Partner closely with Relationship Management/Sales in the key client product roadmap discussions.

Skills
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Minimum 4 years of related industry experience
- Software / financial industry
- Post-trade/pre-settlement processing, trade lifecycle events
- Client facing, implementation/integration and help desk experience preferred
- Demonstrated progressive responsibility in software development lifecycle
Functional Skills/Knowledge:
- Understanding of financial industry strong analytical skills, specifically knowledge of:
- Post-trade/pre-settlement processing for HK
- Middle and back office operations
- Regulatory pressures impacting processing
- Advanced MS PowerPoint, Excel skills
- Strong presentation, client facing skills
COMPETENCIES:

- Self starter able to work remotely from direction and deliver results on time.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's Degree preferred
