Regional Recruiter – North recruitment

Roles and Responsibilities

Within the Recruitment Team you will work closely with all areas including graduate recruitment, global mobility, marketing and experienced hires.

As the regional recruiter for the north you will be the key contact for the region and one of four regional recruitment advisers within the national recruitment and resourcing team, working cross functionally on all senior manager and below recruitment. Your role will be incredibly varied; supporting other recruitment activities as required principally within both experienced hire and graduate recruitment.

This opportunity is for the North Region and will be based in our Manchester office, it will involve travel to other offices in the region and also nationally as needed to ensure regular contact with the business and the regular running of graduate assessment centres.

The post holder will represent KPMG in both internal and external markets, ensuring that we attract and recruit the highest calibre candidates with the abilities to match the current and future needs of the business.

Qualifications and Skills

- Able to act as a regional focal point for communication with the national Recruitment and Resourcing team.
- Working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and, if possible, Peoplesoft, Kenexa and Global Successor.
- Outstanding client relationship skills.
- Ability to work in a remote role.
- Proven direct sourcing skills and techniques.

Experience and Background

- Experience of working in a Resourcing/Recruitment role or general HR position with hands on recruitment within a professional services environment, recruiting across grades from assistant through to senior manager level ideal - graduate recruitment exposure also relevant.
- Experienced interviewer with the confidence and communication skills to act as an effective ambassador for KPMG.
- Experience of direct sourcing, building networks and effectively attracting talent to KPMG through a variety of new media.
- Flexibility to travel across region on a regular basis.
