Regional Sales Manager
Job Description
Harpak-ULMA Packaging, LLC is a distributor and manufacturer of primary and secondary packaging systems. ULMA, G. Mondini, and RAMA are represented.
Tray sealers, fillers, dosers, form/fill/seal equipment, case erecting, automatic loading, sleeving, cartoning, closing, flow wrap, shrink wrap, vertical and horizontal thermoforming as well as superior integration and automation equipment. Our systems approach is considered to be one of the best in the industry. We are a young and progressive company seeking candidates with a high level of enthusiasm, product knowledge and success.
Two positions are available South West and South East. The South West territory includes: Texas, New Mexico, Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Mississippi, and Mexico. You will be responsible for the following:
· Develop sales strategies with management/marketing to penetrate new markets and customers
· Maintain and grow Harpak-ULMA product linessssss within the existing base businesses in your territory.
· Develop potential customer list based upon past knowledge, contacts and experience within the packaging industry
· Identify and establish lasting business building relationships with key accounts
· Develop new business opportunities and markets through cold calling, networking and event attendance
· Maintain thorough lead follow up and action plans
· Work closely and collaboratively with the entire Sales Team and Marketing Team and within the company as a whole
· Provide regular strategic reports on regional activities
· Achieve quarterly and annual sales growth objectives and profitability targets for the complete product line within your territory
Desired Skills Experience
· Experience in capital equipment sales and packaging industry knowledge a must.
· Primary AND secondary packaging experience.
· Existing relationships in territory.
· Computer literacy and PC skills necessary.
· 60-70% travel is required to effectively represent Harpak-ULMA.
· Generate and qualify quality leads.
· Proven success.
