Armor is currently looking for a Regional Sales Manager. This position will report to the Division President for Armor Contract Manufacturing.

 

JOB SUMMARY

Plan and direct sales activity to achieve identified sales targets and to manage direct sales accounts.

 

Responsibilities include:

·      Building relationships with existing customers through sales calls / frequent contact; ensuring needs are met and any issues are resolved in a timely manner

·      Identify and develop new customers

·      Market analysis and recommendations
*  Identifying market areas / segments to penetrate, developing a plan and executing the plan to produce results

·      Project estimating in a manner which enables team to meet expected project profitability

·      Developing leads through trade shows and networking opportunities

·      Daily sales activities/calls/visits/reports

·      Weekly / monthly reporting

·      Annual review of success and failures and analysis for coming year

·      Additional items as assigned by manager

 

COMPETENCY OR POSITION REQUIREMENTS

·      Ability to develop and execute a sales plan with a proven history of results

·      Have experience with customer service

·      Experience with general metal fabrication and / or mechanical background a must

·      Read blueprints / drawings

·      Project estimating - required

·      Making cold calls

·      Effective written and oral presentation skills / good communicator

·      Detail oriented

·      Self motivated

·      Ability to generate presentations and spreadsheets using MS Office

·      Willing to travel extensively

·      Autocad/inventor not required but is a plus.

 EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

·      Bachelor’s degree or equivalent job experience

·      5+ years of experience as sales/estimating or metal fabrication background
