Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced sales management professional with strong consultative and strategic selling experience to join our organization in this challenging and rewarding leadership role.
Reporting to the National Sales Director, you will be responsible for leading a team of Sales Executives (based in Sydney and Brisbane). This team is responsible for low - medium complexity sales and receives support from our Demand Generation, Marketing, Operations, Product and Credit teams.
Other responsibilities will include:
- Coach, motivate and mentor a team of B2B Sales Executives (with varying degrees of sales experience)
- Ability to manage sales opportunities up to medium complexity and managing a large sales pipeline
- Create and execute a sales channel plan
- Monitor performance leading indicators and make necessary adjustments to team strategy/focus
Qualifications, Skills Knowledge
The ideal candidate will have tertiary qualifications in a Business discipline and be able to demonstrate their previous experience and success in a similar role. Previous strategic selling experience, preferably in the international payments/finance marketplace or industry, selling to top level decision makers and national accounts, is a must as is excellent communication skills to ensure strong relationship development internally and externally, and the ability to think creatively and challenge the status quo.
