Regional Sales Manager recruitment

Position Purpose: The Regional Sales Manager will sell organization’s new technologies (Mobile Computing, In-Memory/Distributed Caching and Master Data Management) into new and existing accounts across Asia, utilizing a consultative sales approach. The successful Regional Sales Manager will become an expert in a variety of technology and business oriented value propositions, be able to use a consultative sales approach to align our value propositions with the customer and align existing resources to close new business and ensure success of each implementation. The RSM will be selling multi-million dollar solutions, to large enterprises, competing against competitors that are larger and better known.

Essential Job Functions

•  Be the business driver and penetrate new accounts and meet with stakeholders (C level) within accounts selling new technologies as mentioned above.

•  Demonstrate success with a year over year track record of consistent performance and accountability using multiple sales approaches and managing complex sales into large enterprises.

•  Build key management relationships with focus on new opportunities, customer success, and satisfaction, resulting in reference able accounts and positive brand/company awareness.

•  Lead in the development, presentation and sales of a value proposition

•  Maintain basic understanding of Mobile Computing, In-Memory/Distributed Caching and Master Data Management technologies and marketplace.

•  Enhance personal business solution selling skills and highly developed selling, customer relations, and negotiation skills.

•  Effectively matrix manage and influence across a large complex organization

•  Work effectively with existing Sales Leads, Account Managers, Pre-Sales Leads/Consultants to promote organization’s new technologies across Asia.

•  Work effectively with existing resellers and develop new channel partners to promote new technologies  across Asia.

•  Build working relationships with professional services consulting and education field managers in the respective territory to develop joint account plans.

•  Experience developing and presenting clear and concise sales briefings/meetings

•  Team player, able to work with existing Sales and Pre-Sales teams and able to take direction from Sales Management

•  Shows personal commitment, strong leadership skills and experienced in working in a collaborative environment

•  Is target and success orientated

•  Is ready to constantly develop his / her skills, qualifications, knowledge and personality (learning orientation)

Education and Experience

•  BA/BS degree and familiarity with internet technologies, web portal initiatives, integration platforms, mobile technologies, databases is required.

•  Qualified candidates will have 5 – 10 years prior experience selling software based solutions, specifically into targeted new name accounts with deal sizes that range from $150K - $1M+.

• Demonstrable success in meeting and exceeding a $1.5M-$4M quota and have achieved premium sales "club" recognition.

•  Sales, Business development experience across Asia and India (at least South Asia).

•  An action and results-oriented approach which balance a "take charge" attitude with teamwork and collaboration. An ability to work with prospects to develop strong business solution cases coupled with solid closing skills.

•  Experience in teaming with Systems Integrators is also required. The successful candidate’s background will include having established and executed call plans, orchestrated account planning sessions and effectively executed account strategies.
