Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities of the Regional Sales Manager, a member of our world class sales organization, include:
• Identification, contact, qualification and development of viable new accounts and/or expanding existing accounts within an established and defined territory
• Manage the development and execution of the prospecting plan for new accounts
• Manage the communication and internal coordination of support infrastructure: sales support and executive team to insure customer education and satisfaction
• Responsible for the development, execution and delivery of quality solution focused, client presentations at a tactical level
• Create awareness and demand for company solutions
Skills Requirements:
• 3 – 5years Sales and Account Management experience
• Strong contacts throughout the financial services industry including front, middle and back offices on the buy-side and the sell-side
• A proven record for building and motivating a diverse sales team focused on selling complex solutions and services at all levels
• Experience of having sold sophisticated technological solutions in the financial services industry. Knowledge of derivatives across asset classes including foreign exchange, equities, interest rates, commodities and credit risk derivatives is a very distinct advantage
• Establish an aggressive account development and retention strategy for complex solutions within a sales team environment
• Work to develop a deep pipeline of new accounts in each target sector of the financial services industry (buy-side and sell-side)
• Demonstrated ability to accelerate the sale process: generating leads, managing the quote process, overcoming objections, "quarterbacking" the proposal development and successful installation of service offerings
• Exceptional ability to motivate and influence the sales team, key client contacts and decision makers
• Proven expertise to develop relationships from a cold call or networking activity
• Consistent, year on year, high performance track record
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills required
