Established in 1907, Gabriel North America designs, manufactures and distributes suspension products for the automotive aftermarket and other specialty vehicles. The company is the current market leader in suspension systems products. Gabriel NA currently employs more than 1,300 salaried and hourly employees at several locations in the US and Mexico. The company has two manufacturing facilities; one domestic US and one in Mexico. Revenues for the company are approximately $200MM.

 

Job Summary

Develop territory sales strategy that attains sales targets set by corporate objectives.  Maintain high standards of customer satisfaction within area of responsibility.  Complete territory responsibilities to cover a primary customer support other sales channels through prospecting.  Primary responsibility will be to increase unit volume of the primary account at the installer level.

 

Principle Responsibilities

ü       High level of technical knowledge of drivetrain and undercarriage product lines.

ü       Implements sales automation techniques through strong PC skills.

ü       Creates and implements territory sales plans to achieve business unit sales growth targets.

ü       Researches market for competitive information and pricing to assure competitiveness within territory.

ü       Conduct training classes.

ü       Must be willing to travel in excess of 85%.

Education/Experience:

ü       Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering or related field or high school diploma with minimum of 3 years or more experience in sales, marketing, customer support, business or engineering.

ü       Demonstrated strong product and technical knowledge.
