Clinical Supervisor - Home Care
Oakland Home Care is a Medicare certified home health care agency. Our current market area covers Canton, Novi, Rochester Hills, and Royal Oak. Oakland is fast growing, and in need of a Clinical Supervisor to join our team!
The Clinical Supervisor will work under the direction of the Director of Nursing to ensure quality patient care to home health patients. He/She will work with clinicians to be responsible for meeting patient needs through adequate staffing, quality of care, appropriate documentation and follow up.
Major Job Functions Include (but are not limited to):
- Hiring, coaching, counseling, evaluation, and motivation of clinical staff
- Act as a resource for staff, physicians, and referral sources
- Provide coordination of patient care to ensure timely quality care for all patients
- Assists the Director of Nursing with policy and procedural issues as needed
- Training of clinical staff regarding company policies / procedures, as well as state and Medicare compliance
- In-service training and orientation to all clinical staff
- Reviews documentation and performs in-home supervision visits with clinicians
- Participates in strategic planning and annual budget discussions
Job Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing - Baccalaureate degree preferred
- Current Registered Nursing License in good standing
- 2+ years in Home Health
- Competent clinical and leadership skills
- Prior management experience
- Current and valid drivers license
