Aurora Medical Center in Grafton is on Grafton's fast-growing east side, near the Interstate 43 interchange at Highway 60. We opened on November 1st and are providing a full spectrum of integrated services to our patients in Ozaukee County and adjacent communities. The hospital has incorporated many environmentally friendly features, making it the "greenest" hospital in Wisconsin. Our new Aurora Medical Center in Grafton has a 24-hour emergency department, a future Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic and a complete array of other hospital services. As our Nursing Lead in Neuro, imagine yourself... * Providing direction to the clinical and support staff with responsibility for the coordination of resources to efficiently support procedures, day-to-day operations and the smooth flow of patients through the department. * Promoting an environment conducive to the delivery of safe, efficient and quality of patient care, which may include performing patient rounding on a daily basis. * Promoting communication among patients, families, hospital departments and medical staff to optimize the interdependence of team members. * Coordinating the needs of physicians and acts as a liaison between the medical and nursing staff. * Acting as a resource to caregivers, which includes training/orienting, providing day-to-day work direction, and giving input on performance. * Assigning monitoring and reviewing progress and accuracy of work, directing efforts and providing guidance on more complex issues.
