Aurora Medical Center in Grafton is on Grafton's fast-growing east side, near the Interstate 43 interchange at Highway 60. We opened on November 1st and are providing a full spectrum of integrated services to our patients in Ozaukee County and adjacent communities. As our Nursing Lead in Neuro, imagine yourself... * Providing direction to the clinical and support staff with responsibility for the coordination of resources to efficiently support procedures, day-to-day operations and the smooth flow of patients through the department. * Promoting an environment conducive to the delivery of safe, efficient and quality of patient care, which may include performing patient rounding on a daily basis. * Promoting communication among patients, families, hospital departments and medical staff to optimize the interdependence of team members. * Coordinating the needs of physicians and acts as a liaison between the medical and nursing staff. * Acting as a resource to caregivers, which includes training/orienting, providing day-to-day work direction, and giving input on performance. * Assigning monitoring and reviewing progress and accuracy of work, directing efforts and providing guidance on more complex issues.
