Registration Processor

Our client, a leading global financial services firm with assets of $1.2 trillion and is a leader in investment banking.
They are currently recruiting in the Bournemouth area and looking for passionate, career minded professionals with excellent communication skills and keen to work in fast paced environment.
 
On a daily basis ensure timely and accurate completion of all daily oversight checks and updates required to manage the Germany registration and blocking management process.
Ensure all UPT (Unprocessable Trade) instructions are reviewed and relevant action taken in a timely manner to ensure client trading is not impacted
Ensure full execution of morning and afternoon daily controls and checks are completed.
Manage group email boxes and internal enquiry management tools to ensure queries from Lending and Settlements in relation to the Germany registration and blocking process are resolved and responded to within a timeframe and manner sensitive to the urgency of the event, thereby ensuring that internal and external client satisfaction is achieved.
Work with Vendor, Client Services, Securities Lending and Settlements to resolve day-to-day issues identified through daily operations and enquiry management.
Manage your individual workload to ensure individual, team and departmental deadlines and objectives are met.
Work with team Managers to review and, where necessary, seek approval for updates to processes or procedures to minimise risk and improve the operational environment.  Urgent changes to processes or procedures should be documented and escalated immediately.
Take full responsibility for adherence to all departmental procedures, policies, checkpoints and controls.
In the event that a situation arises where you are unsure how to proceed then you should immediately escalate to your manager for support and guidance.
Escalation must occur when decision making authority for your role has been reached following departmental procedures, policies, check points and controls for a given situation or scenario.
 
Your Background:
 
Successful performance in a risk based environment with a proven track record of risk reduction.
Results based experience demonstrating strategic and analytical thinking.
Track record of working in a changing environment with the experience of learning, documenting and implementing new processes efficiently.
Demonstrate experience of multi-tasking and effective time management with attention to detail in a fast paced environment.
Experience of effective communication both oral and written to management, clients and colleagues
Must have Microsoft Office skills: Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
 
Desirable:
 
Relevant degree education preferred, however, non degree candidates with a proven track record in a similar role will be considered.
Financial Services background would be preferred, ideally within a Custody or Investment Bank environment.
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Previous experience of team development
