This long term contract gives you the opportunity to gain experience within a large Investment Bank. Reporting to the head of Compliance and working closely with the Company Secretary to maintain the Registrations Matrix. This role also focuses on License updates and amendments for all legal entities for bothAustraliaandNew Zealand.
Responsibilities
- Working closely with the business to process and appoint new Responsible Executives, Responsible Managers and Responsible Persons.
- Liaising with Compliance officers to ensure licensing for the legal entity amendments are implemented
- Being involved in additional projects to assist the Company Secretary
- Having open lines of communications with Directors, and Responsible Persons in the business
- Always maintaining the Fit and Proper Policy
- Have full responsibility of the end of year process of Governance
Requirements
- The successful candidate must have proven expert knowledge of licensing amendments for legal entities
- Strong past experience of dealing with documentation for appointing Responsible Managers, Responsible Executives and Responsible Persons.
- Expert knowledge of AFSL and APRA Prudential Compliance Standards
- Strong relationship focus and maintain existing relationships with governing bodies and internal stakeholders
- Proven problem solving skills
- Can show a history of delivery excellence in previous roles they have held
- Good communication skills and an ability to deal with internal stakeholders in a pressure environment
