Regulatory Accountant – Jersey recruitment
Role responsibilities:
• To prepare monthly, quarterly and annual regulatory returns for all regulated entities and submit them to the applicable Regulators.
• To prepare and distribute daily internal reports as required by regulatory requirements, reporting on currency risk, liquidity risk and capital adequacy.
• Resolve all Regulatory queries.
• Stay on top of all regulatory requirements and changes, and incorporate requirements into internal reporting and systems.
• Preparing detailed summary reports for the regulator on ad hoc projects.
• Support the year end statutory accounts process as required.
Skills/Experience required:
• Requires analytical and financial skills.
• Must show knowledge of financial services environment.
• Professional qualification (eg: CA(SA), or ACA, ACCA) is preferred, with Financial Services audit experience a definite bonus.
• Preferably practical knowledge and experience of regulatory reporting.
• Must be able to demonstrate superior Excel skills.
