A leading global Energy company are looking for a compliance professional to join the regulatory advisory team within the supply trading arm. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a prestigious organisation capable of offering the right individual more than just a day to day job but a challenging and rewarding career.
Reporting into the head of policy regulation, you will be entering an organisation with a strong compliance culture and where the department has a high profile with senior management. You will be responsible for monitoring current proposed EU and legislation and regulatory directives, with a particular emphasis on REMIT, EMIR Level2, MiFID 2, and the review of the Market Abuse Directive, assessing the impact these will have on the business and cascading this across the relevant business areas.
Due to the regulatory-centric nature of the role individuals from an advisory background are encouraged to apply. Working with, or closely to a regulatory body is most definitely advantageous. You must be familliar with the afforementioned regulation. Overall they are looking for an individual who can hit the ground running and has an insight into policy in the EU.
