Regulatory Affairs Associate recruitment

Key responsibilities will include:
• Keeping abreast of current regulatory issues and the overall regulatory environment facing the financial industry
• Advising clients and internal staff of sound procedures and policies to comply with industry regulations. 
• Responding to examiner questions and/or issues as they arise and review.
• Revising and creating individualized policies that meet our client’s regulatory and economic needs. 
• Participating in board meetings and training sessions on regulatory issues.
• Conducting speaking engagements and providing interviews on regulatory
issues as needed.
• Writing articles for publication in industry periodicals, and submit comment letters on proposed regulations as appropriate.
• Maintaining and strengthening relationships with the regulatory agencies (i.e. NCUA). 
• Conducting internal training sessions and strategy meetings to ensure staff understands relevant regulatory issues.
 

Ideal candidates will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and/or Economics, with a minimum of three to five years experience as an Examiner with the NCUA. Superior written and verbal communication skills are essential, with the ability to speak effectively before groups of clients or high-level employees of an organization. Experience in the design and delivery of policies and training presentations related to industry regulations is also required.
