Regulatory Analyst

Our client, a world leader within Banking Industry, is currently seeking to recruit a Qualified Regulatory Analyst who will be responsible for responsible for reporting Risk Weighted Asset (RWA) and capital requirements across the Business.

This interesting opportunity has arisen within Finance to be part of the CRD3 CRD4 programme. The Programme is providing governance across the piece to provide a holistic view and coordinate the management approach to regulatory developments across the Finance divisions. This role will also include working directly with the Markets business management and other stakeholders as part of their strategic response to accommodate the capital impacts arising from changes to the regulatory landscape educate business management and input directly into the Financial Markets strategies.

Key responsibilities within the role include:

• Assist with the overall CRD3/CRD4 programme management
• CRD4 quantifications and generation of business level management information e.g. CVA risk capital charge, changes to default risk methodology e.g. clearing houses, specific wrong way risk, incorporating changes to the margin period of risk, CVA offset, asset value correlation charge on large FI's and unregulated FI's etc.
• CRD3 quantifications and generation of business level management information e.g. trading book securitisations, banking book resecuritisations, consolidation of market risk requirements such as IRC, Stressed VaR, All Price Risk etc
• Collaboration with front office stakeholders to analyse impact assessments, investigate drivers of charges, scenario analysis, discussion of business strategy and mitigation actions.
• Provision of business management information on current RWA’s/capital and CRD3 and CRD4 impacts
• Education of business and other stakeholder on regulatory developments.
• Provide support towards strategic delivery of CRD4
• Maintain alignment with parallel RWA production and strategic RWA calculation projects
