Fantastic opportunity at a Global leading Financial Services Group, with offices worldwide, are looking for a Regulatory and Financial Reporting Manager to join their dynamic finance team.
The organisation is listed on the New York Stock Exchange with a multi billion dollar turnover.
This role the EMEA Financial Control area, and offers a huge amount of exposure in a high visibility area of the business. It offers vast opportunity for progression across the business, and to add real value to their finance team.
It is a varied role encompassing the regulatory reporting side, along with financial reporting and control therefore allowing the successful candidate to enjoy rounded exposure to the business. There is also an emphasis on project work and liaising with key stakeholders, developing relationships across the business.
Responsibilities include:
Regulatory responsibilities include advising on and preparing finance sections for regulatory reporting requirements across EMEA . Being the main point of contact for regulatory authorities or members of the management boards, therefore allowing high visibility in the business.
Preparing the statutory accounts for UK/EMEA countries, and preparing interim financial reports for board directors.
Adding value to the financial reporting process by improving and develop new standardised monthly reporting formats for entity and regional analysis to assist financial reporting managers in their review.
The ideal candidate would be CA qualified or equivalent, with post qualification experience in a similar role/environment. They would have knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements, extensive experience of global financial reporting systems and good knowledge of US GAAP/IFRS.
