Regulatory Change Management Business Analyst
Responsibilities:
- Manage deliverables under the FATCA Institutional Client Classification and verification workstream
- Develop project plans and manage implementation, including milestones
- Risk issue escalation, management and resolution
- Draft requirements documents and develop consensus around deliverables
- Work with BAU teams to identify, assess and enhance processes and procedures for successful FATCA implementation
- Create training materials and assist with training delivery
- Set and manage realistic expectations for successful delivery among stakeholders in Business and Operations project teams
- Assure quality of deliverables throughout the project
- Summarize and report project status to management
- Communicate to senior stakeholders and sponsors of the Programme
- Monitor the progress of ongoing development work and understand how that fits into the Workstream's plans
- Develop testing and implementation approaches and manage user acceptance tests
- Build and manage relationships between various users groups, Operations and Technology
Skills and Experience:
- Relevant Project Management certification desirable (PMI / PMP / PRINCE2)
- Minimum 3 years recent experience with regulatory change management projects as a Business Analyst or Project Manager e.g.FATCA (preferred), Dodd-Frank, EMIR within a large investment bank or similar institution
- Related experience in business process development or management consulting, technology strategy
- Have advanced Excel and Word, Visio skills
- Relevant industry knowledge of Banking Operations
- A proactive self-starter, able to manage own time, prioritise and independently identify and complete implied tasks.
- A leader who works effectively in a team setting and is passionate about providing innovative solutions for complex business needs.
- A strong communicator, able to interact successfully and deliver results amongst all levels of employees.
- Strong delivery focus with a proven track record of achieving results and demonstrating proficiency in managing multiple competing tasks on a daily basis.
- Attention to detail / excellent organisation skills and able to manage own time and multi-task between numerous competing demands.
***Please note that due to the urgency of the project, preference will be given to candidates who are on a two week notice period or less.
*** This is a senior level role so please do not apply unless you can demonstrate proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst or Project Manager in Banking regulatory change managements projects ideally FATCA.
