Regulatory Compliance Officer recruitment
Responsibilities:
- Establishing strategy, direction, policies and standards for regulatory compliance, and corporate governance according to internal and local regulatory requirements
- Identification, profiling and quantification of key strategic, business and macro regulatory risks for formulation of strategies, business model, policies and mitigation/resilience programs and infrastructures;
- Working with different LOB in establishing business, risk management and regulatory compliance platforms to support the Group and deliver firm strategy
- Liaise with regulators on new legislations and/or changes in regulatory stance to optimise strategy, positioning and business model.
- Liaise with Head of Compliance on development and implementation of global risk, governance and compliance strategies, policies, standards and initiatives, including Basel I, II, and III, Sarbanes Oxley Act compliance, Data Privacy, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, OFAC, Anti-money Laundering.
- Advise the business on the formulation and implementation of compliance policies, strategies, architectures and standards according to regulatory requirements
- Develop and implement the compliance framework across the region. Introduced compliance monitoring, awareness, training, and reporting programs
Requirements:
- Degree holder with 3-4 years working experience, preferably in regulatory bodies (HKMA, SFC, etc)
- Compliance experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Strong communication skills – Fluent in English and Chinese
- Accurate and efficient completion of tasks
- Independent yet able to work in teams with a willingness to assume responsibility
