Regulatory Outreach Campaign Manager

My client is a newly established financial services company, who in their first year of trading has grown dramatically and now has an impressive 22 professional Staff.

What are we looking for? This position is for a Regulatory Outreach Campaign Manager to lead a Tier 1 investment bank client engagement. This represents a fantastic opportunity to join an ambitious, fast growing company at the early stages of its development.

The purpose of this role is to supervise and manage a team of Analysts in the development and delivery of a Regulatory Outreach Campaign for our Tier 1 Investment Banking Client.

As a Team Manager you will be responsible for:

Building and maintaining effective relationships with key clients and stakeholders
Working with the Client to design, plan and execute outreach campaigns
Planning and organising workloads and delivery deadlines
Building, developing and leading a highly motivated team
Managing all team members and ensuring a quality deliverable to the Client
Briefing teams on targets and initiatives
Monitoring and reporting on team performance to Senior Management
The delivery of metrics and management information as a means of ensuring team performance and quality of delivery
Training and development of all team members

Essential experience

Knowledge of Financial Regulation.
Experience of working on Client On-boarding projects within a top tier Financial Institution
Awareness of the Volcker Rule and upcoming implementation, e.g. Covered Funds
Understanding of Hedge Funds
Proven Leadership experience including recruitment, structuring, leading and motivating operational teams to deliver results against stretching performance targets
Excellent knowledge and understanding of the legislation that affects the Financial Services sector (including the Data Protection Act, Companies Act, Insolvency Act, Financial Services Act, Money Laundering and confidentiality regulations)
Proven experience in undertaking direct Client contact – via face-to-face meetings, phone calls and emails
Experience of leading a team with a strong ability to delegate and manage people
