Regulatory Reporting (projects)
The successful candidate will have a good understanding of the BIPRU rule book, BASEL requirements and COREP templates will also have several years experience in the regulatory space with projects experience.
Key responsibilities:
- Writing business requirements (BRD) for COREP Templates
- UAT testing on COREP templates and CRDiv compliant capital engine
- Analysis of data gaps and working with overseas based project team to resolve
- Documentation of end to end processes for hand over to BAU team
Skill / Experience:
- Regulatory capital, BIPRU
- Strong working knowledge of CRD4/COREP, Data Point Model, Differences between CRD2/3 and CRD4
- Regulatory requirements for Own Funds (stress capital), Credit Risk, CVA, CCP, CEM calcs for OTC/ETDs, Liquidity, Leverage
- Standardised calculation methodology
- Understanding BIII APRA requirements would be an advantage
- Can work autonomously, tracking issues and building assumptions in order to drive a process forward
- Self motivated with excellent communication skills
- Product knowledge, Finance and accounting, MS Office, Excel (pivots), Access (creating/maintaining/querying), PPT
Education / Qualifications
- ACA qualified, part qualified, or equivalent
Personal Attributes:
- Team player, willing to help out wherever required.
- Practical and well organised approach to work, with demonstrable history of delivering to deadlines.
- Ability to apply judgment and to escalate issues where appropriate.
- Experience of regulatory reporting within an investment banking/ trading environment or audit is preferred.
