Regulatory Risk Analyst recruitment
To assist in the creation, development and completion of the Regulatory Risk management framework
Key responsibilities of the Analyst will include:
Monitoring
- Conduct regular monitoring reviews in accordance with Compliance monitoring programme
- Liaise with departments on review action points
Reporting
- Assist with ,and input to, production of reports for Key Indicators for Compliance Committee
- Assist with ,and input to, the production of board reports
Analysis
- Analyse breaches and regulatory incidents, conduct follow up work and root cause analysis
- Assist with preparation of Key Risk Indicator reports by analysing data from a wide variety of sources and identifying trends
Compliance Policies and procedures
- Ensure Firm wide policies and procedures are kept up to date
- Assist with the maintenance of the Group Compliance Manual
- Ideally, applicants should be educated to degree level.
- Previous experience of regulatory compliance is not essential, but experience of working within a regulated environment, particularly investment operations, would be advantageous.
- Previous experience of financial promotions review and approval desirable, but not essential.
- Excellent organisation skills, ability to deliver results in advance of deadlines, and commitment to quality with good accuracy/attention to detail are essential attributes.
- Strong analytical skills are also essential for this role, as well as the ability to interpret numerical data.
- A good working knowledge of word and excel is required.
- Candidates should also have strong communication skills and be able to relate to people at all levels across the business.
