Regulatory Specialist

You will be responsible for:-
- New business initiatives including performing an advisory service for the business units on specific transaction and business related issues in order to achieve regulatory capital optimisation.
-Policy development and implementation including involvement in the policy development work being undertaken industry wide: implementation of Basel III, On-going PRA/FCA prudential sourcebook implementation, Global regulatory consolidation
- Assurance including involvement in the business and product reviews undertaken by the team to provide assurance that relevant regulatory requirements are being met.
- PRA relationship management including coordinating response to PRA requests for information or meetings
- Project work including involvement in a diverse range of project work, including the setting up of new regulated entities globally, development of new IT solutions and model applications to PRA.

As regulatory specialist successful candidate:
- Will need to be prepared to work in a challenging environment and be comfortable communicating with people of all levels and experience.
- Be self-motivated, approachable, able to absorb technical information and eager to learn and coach.
- Demonstrate up to date knowledge of PRA/FCA prudential requirements (GENPRU and BIPRU), relevant policy developments, awareness of global regulatory developments and have appreciation for the approach of other regulators, demonstrate a detailed knowledge of Basel III.
