Overview
We are currently recruiting for a Relationship Analyst to join the Global Relationship Group in London. The successful candidate will be an integral member of the Institutional UK/Eire team.
Responsibilities
Commanding a thorough knowledge of our business, coupled with the interpersonal skills to deal effectively with clients, the successful candidate will work closely with all members of the team on a portfolio of assigned accounts. He/she will conduct analysis of client portfolios, initiate investigations, respond to inquiries on a wide variety of topics, and perform other tasks as appropriate.
• Work with Relationship Managers to understand each client's long-term investment strategy and policy issues, in order to service the client to the highest standard;
• Incorporate product knowledge, cultural awareness and business judgment to ensure clients are provided with the optimal mix of the firm's resources;
• Analyse performance data, investment characteristics and risk profiles of client portfolios;
• Support in the planning and preparation of client meetings;
• As required, meet with clients and consultants and manage any follow up;
• Coordinate with the Client Integration team on all client transition events;
• Ensure compliance with client guidelines and applicable regulations, in liaison with Legal and Compliance colleagues;
• Respond to client requests for reports/data in a timely and professional manner;
• Co-ordinate client Requests for Information/Due Diligence Questionnaires (RFIs);
• Ensure the timely preparation of standard and customised client reports, including monthly and quarterly portfolio summaries and performance attribution analyses;
• Actively promote and support the use of InSite by ensuring that all necessary client configuration and maintenance is completed on a timely basis;
• Ensure all client data is accurately captured and reflected via internal systems.
Qualifications
The successful candidate is likely to:
• Have strong academic credentials, coupled with progress towards (or willingness to pursue) a relevant professional qualification, e.g. CFA;
• Have relevant client facing experience, gained within the Financial Services industry. Ideally, this will include direct Buy side experience supporting institutional and/or wholesale client relationships;
• Demonstrate an understanding of capital markets and/or investment products. Ideally, this will include a strong understanding of Fixed Income;
• Have excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
This position may carry on Investment Business as defined under the Rules of the FCA, and as such this individual may need to achieve threshold competence (as defined by the FCA) as a condition of employment in this role.
