Global Banking provides financial services to US Wells Fargo customers that have international business and European companies with business presence in the US.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for working with the relationship team to support a portfolio of Global Corporate clients in Europe.
- Responsible for ensuring a high level of client satisfaction and retention by proactively taking ownership for solving problems, engaging appropriate partners and addressing client issues.
- Monitor overdrafts by reviewing reports and working with RM’s and customers for resolution as needed.
- Maintain credit tickler and default reports and act as a liaison between the office and external partners.
- Strengthen customer relationships by supporting cross sell opportunities and referrals.
- Prepare due diligence documents, coordinate the Credit investigation process, and organize results to comply with Know Your Customer, ensure satisfactory Data Integrity, and other regulatory and policy requirements.
- Supporting the RM/Sales throughout the entire sales process for our clients’ credit and non-credit needs (Loan Documentation/Structuring/Negotiation, Trade Guarantees, Account Openings including pricing where required, coordination of internal and external support tasks).
- Interacting with the US Ireland offices, internal product partners, other members of the office (e.g., Legal, Compliance, Risk, Tax, Operations, Finance), and clients to deliver results in a timely manner.
- Ensure new deals are booked/ updated in relevant relationship systems and revenue captured at all times.
- Supporting the Operational Lending/booking capabilities and Trade Services capabilities, coordinating credit/TRE requests, Balance Monitoring, pricing proposals, and relationship reviews
- Assist team with pricing functions such as new pricing requests, exception pricing and regular price reviews.
- Ad-hoc projects/initiatives/marketing/portfolio management/maintenance for all relevant product services.
Requirements
The successful candidate will be able to:
- Demonstrated working knowledge of wholesale banking operations and/or systems.
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of banking products and services related to treasury management, leadership skills, risk and regulatory compliance, accounting and bank operations.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
