Relationship Manager, Commercial Banking recruitment
This excellent opportunity will appeal to an elite corporate banking professional, who wishes to play a key role in the ongoing growth of HSBC’s Corporate Bank in the Australian market. Emphasis will be placed on a demonstrated track record of new business acquisition and strong credit risk management skills.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Establishing a strong and productive network of new business relationships.
- Building a client portfolio, whilst ensuring focus on credit quality.
- Managing and developing an existing portfolio, including global corporate relationships.
- Managing internal and external relationships across multiple countries.
- Harnessing efforts internally (e.g. with Trade, Legal, Credit Risk Management, Transactional Services, Treasury etc) to deliver superior solutions to customers, whilst proactively cross-selling the Bank’s product range.
- Maintaining a core understanding of each customer’s business, industry and associated markets.
- Direct oversight of Relationship Executive
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A thorough working knowledge of banking, with a track record in corporate banking of not less than 5 years.
- A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline.
- Existing skills in structuring working capital, term and trade finance solutions is strongly desirable.
- To be able to demonstrate your ability to build strong and lasting relationships with internal and external parties.
- In-depth analytical skills and strong credit metric experience with a strong commercial orientation and focus on credit quality.
- Excellent communication skills.
- High levels of motivation and commitment.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work independently and autonomously.
- To consistently meet and exceed customer expectations through superior customerservice.
- People management experience.
