About the business and team
Premier Banking provides dedicated relationship management to highvalue clients of the Commonwealth Bank. These clients come to us with deposit, lending and investment balances of $750k or more. As well as assisting our clients to achieve financial growth, we provide superior service to help them better manage their daily finances.
OurMelbourne CBDPremier Banking Team is led byBen Smarrelliand based in the CBD. The team is represented by a group of passionate and experienced financial professionals who are driven to achieve the best outcomes for their clients with a strong focus on productivity and timeliness. About the position
As a Relationship Manager, you will be the single point of contact for a portfolio of highvalue clients. You will manage the unique and at times complex needs of your clients, from everyday banking through to investments, financial planning and wealth protection.
You will deftly manage these sophisticated relationships, through regular contact and follow-up, quality financial health checks and strong market awareness.
What will success look like?
- You act as a trusted advisor to your client portfolio through strong, positive relationship management
- You focus on customer retention and pursue cross-sell and other sales opportunities which benefit the client
- You proactively drive client acquisition and referrals from key business referral partners
- You offer innovative and comprehensive financial solutions and critical advice to meet the lending and investment needs of your clients
- You effectively manage your workflow and forward plan activities to ensure optimal productivity and client satisfaction
What will help you achieve success?
- Prior experience in and knowledge of mortgage/lending products services
- Experience in a sales role with diversified product/service offerings
- The capacity to flourish in a busy, commercial and competitive environment
- Certificate IV accreditation in mortgage/lending or similar (preferred)
- FSRA Tier 2 accreditation, including Deposit Products and General Insurance (preferred)
