Main responsabilities
- In coordination with the Senior Relationship Managers you will carry out the following tasks for all Financial Institutions clients:
- Coordinate the use of existing credit lines in order to optimize the client relationship and arbitrate between business lines (incl. investment banking)
- Prepare and negotiate credit line increases based on business lines requests
- Pro-actively optimize the use of credit lines in joint-work with the clients
- Within CoverageInvestment Banking (CORI), be in charge (in coordination with Senior Relationship Managers) of the client facing negotiations for credit financings (bilateral or syndicated; direct facilities; letter of credit or guarantees), both with regards to margin/fees and other terms and conditions
- Promote and identify targets for selected structured financings
• In this context, you will supervise the work of the coverage support department and coordinate the processes with the credit and risk departments
- You will prepare, manage and be accountable for marketing, planning and budgeting of commercial and transaction banking activities and be responsible for the coordination (if needed) of the marketing activity of selected business lines or group subsidiaries (within our global network), a.o. based in Frankfurt, London, Paris and/or New York.
Experience Technical skills
• Very good Bachelor or Master’s degree in Finance or Business Administration or bank advanced training in Capital Markets Finance
• Ideally 5-7 years experience in Credit Portfolio Management, Corporate Finance, DCM or Syndicated Loans department of a leading Investment Bank and at least 2 years in a front office/client management activity, ideally in the Financial Institutions area
• Fluency (written oral) in German and English is essential, working knowledge of French would be beneficial
• Experience with commercial and transaction banking products as well as with project coordination
• Good knowledge of credit and risk as well as finance mathematics/derivatives
• Good command of MS Office, Bloomberg and Reuters
