Relationship Manager – Team Leader recruitment

Our client, a leading global wealth manager, currently seeks a Relationship Manager, to be based in London

The Relationship Manager will be responsible for:

-Managing and motivating a team of Relationship Managers to deliver exceptional sales and
business performance through driving a world class sales culture and maintaining sound risk
management
-Controlling and managing operational risk for the team, by ensuring adherence to all internal
and International Banking risk policies and regulatory requirements
-Pro-actively identifying and monitoring key client service issues, in order to ensure that the
team delivers an exceptional service
-The role holder will be responsible for managing a team of up to 8-10 Relationship Managers

As such, the successful Relationship Manager will have the following skills and experience:

-Knowledge of the Data Protection Act/Consumer Credit Act/Financial Services Authority and
equivalent local legislation, to ensure compliance with the Bank's regulatory requirements
-Strong knowledge of the UK/Global economic and political conditions, current affairs and
competitor activity and the implications of these on their clients
- A proven, successful track record, along with experience in a front line team leadership role
within a banking and/or wealth management/financial services background.
-Ideally have a high quality degree level education and a first class general academic track
record
- A professional banking or investment qualification would also be desirable.
