Relationship and Restructuring Managers – Waterford
Permanent roles.
Salary: 40K - 55K
Location: Waterford
Our client, a leading financial services institution is looking to hire a number of Relationship and Restructuring Managers for their regional offices. The successful candidate will have full responsibility for the Credit Management of a mixed loan portfolio and ensure that all credit policies are adhered to in line with bank policy.
The Candidate:
- A strong technical understanding of complex credit issues
- 3-4 years banking experience
- A track record in dealing with debt and restructuring issues
- Experience in leading and mentoring a team
- Strong communication skills
- An ability to manage and grow a portfolio in line with new credit guidelines
The Role:
- Manage a portfolio of loans ranging from €0 - €1m and identify early risk indicators on existing loans
- Conduct due diligence on assigned cases and put forward best alternatives for maximum loan recovery
- Monitor and control a team with their respective portfolios of high risk cases and manage own portfolio of larger high risk and complex cases.
- Develop and review customer strategies, liaising with other functions as appropriate and ensure execution as appropriate in order to improve the company’s risk position
- Ensure compliance with company and regulatory policy taking action where necessary in order to minimise risk.
- Professionally develop the business in accordance with both regulatory standards and internal and external control procedures, structuring lending proposals in line with the Banks credit processes.
- Lead and motivate reporting staff to deliver, offering the necessary training, development and leadership that they require
