Release and Environment Manager – Derivatives – London – VP recruitment
Leading Derivatives House seeks a Release and Environment Manager for their London team. My client is expanding due to increase workload and new projects, and you will be the sole person responsible for change and release in London. The role will require you to be involved in all aspects of the software life cycle. You will be involved in project managing major change events, change management tool administration, defining and writing new requirements, and enforcing release policy for all production changes.
You must have experience performing Release Management, along with experience of working in a structured environment. You must have an understanding of full project lifecycle. The successful candidate will be process-driven, with an ITIL background, and must have familiarity with build and release tools such as Ant, Maven and Sub Version. You must also have strong scripting skills in either Perl or Unix Shell.
This is an excellent opportunity to break into the financial sector, whilst taking on a challenging role that could make a difference to the organisation.
The role is based in London and my client is looking to pay £60-65K.
