Release Coordinator
A global investment bank based in London is looking for a Release Coordinator to help to project manage the lifecycle of releases and assisting technical teams in planning the deployment.
Responsibilities:
· Develop good working relationships with the Service Design and Delivery Team and Service Transition to understand the status of new projects/services being transitioned into the live environment and ensure they adhere to any relevant Release Management procedures.
· Produce, agree and provide on-going coordination of a release plan for each release.
· Communicate release plans to all necessary stakeholders in the delivery of the release
· Work with the development teams to move toward continuous deployment technology and processes
· Provide regular updates to the release roadmap.
Skills:
· Experience of providing a range of technology services within a 24/7, multiple site environments.
· Knowledge and experience of ITIL Service Management good practice, particularly change and configuration management.
· Ability to estimate risk of potential business impact from minimal data.
· Proven ability to persuade and influence others using a variety of communication styles.
· Experience of working within a Change or Release Management Function in a demanding and complex environment.
