Reliability Technician
We are currently seeking a Reliability Engineering Technician for our New Wales, Florida location. The purpose of this position is to :
- Support the reliability operations activities to maximizie asset life and productivity.
- Support operations, maintenance, engineering and procurment activities to assure asset life and productivity are optimized.
- Coach employees to ensure precision practices are being applied and assist in developing analysis methods for determining reliability of components, equipment and processes.
- Assist in tracking reliability problems and work with others in investigations to determine the reliability required for the particular situation, considering the cost limitations for equipment, up/down time, repair/replacement costs, weight, size and availability.
- Be vigilant of issues and conditions that can affect their fellow workers.
- Report issues that can impact the environment or the safety of the employee.
- Reponsible for conducting audits and inspections.
What will you do?
- Use standard processes to assure assets function and maintenance plans are in place.
- Provide inspection reports and recommendations for areas of improvement and auditing of current proposed maintenance and reliability work processes.
- Ensure precision practices are being applied to assets.l
- Provide Quality Analysis/Quality Control support to maintenance crews and/or contractors performing the work.
- Provide support and coaching to Maintenance, Operations, Engineering and Procurement employee to maximize asset life and productivity.
- Utilize reliability centered maintenance (RCM), root cause analysis (RCA), and maximizing asset and productivity life (MAPL) feedback processes to eliminate and/or identify defects that cause Asset failures in both process and mechanical systems.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Prefer certification in mechanical or electrical maintenance reliability skills.
- 5 years industrial maintenance or reliability experience with advanced skills in alignment, balancing, torque and vibration.
- Basic working knowledge of MS tools, Maximo or other maintenance management system.
- Ability to influence/coach others.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to communicate complex issues to all levels throughout the organization.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
