Skills Requirements
We'll recognize a great engineer when we see one, but ideally, you should have:
- Experience in Angular.js on the front-end (and ideally some Node.js and PostgreSQL skills for the back-end), great Javascript of course, ideally CoffeeScript as this is used throughout, though if you impress us with your skills in other areas this is something you can learn as you go.
- Ideally you'll also have (demonstrable) experience working with SVG and HTML5 canvas, Cordova, LESS, and the front-end BEM methodology. Due to the melding of Web technologies and native technologies on the iOS platform some experience with Objective C and/or Swift would also be incredibly useful.
What we looking for
- A productive coder, experienced in the whole spectrum of Web technologies.
- Who takes pride in their work and are passionate about good code.
- Who couldn’t imagine starting a new project without version control.
- Who is an excellent communicator, fluent in English.
- Who has a good internet line available so you can join a video call without trouble.
- Who is comfortable taking on a project and pushing it to completion without too much management.
- Who has their own MAC and a recent iPad.
- Who has a portfolio of code to show, on GitHub or otherwise.
The Process
Send us your CV, examples of work will make a huge difference, with a focus on what you can bring to the team. A repository of code we can review and/or a published front-end is a definite plus.
If we like what we see, we will contact you for a call. We may ask you to solve a programming project offline, in a short timeframe, and then discuss your solution. If then normally ask you back for a more in depth final round.

Who you’ll be working with a team of coders, passionate about Web technologies and using them in new and strange places
- who have created embedded, tablet, mobile, and web applications, all with JavaScript both on server and client side, over the last 3 years.
- who are based in the UK and Greece but are set up around online tools, so your location is not important, your skills are.
- who use Coffeescript, NodeJS, AngularJS, RequireJS, Grunt, Postgres, and a long list of less well known technologies.
Knowledge of these technologies a definite plus, but can be overcome by demonstrating willingness to learn, deep knowledge of JavaScript, the Web, and coding-in-general.
